Independent musicians that are the beating heart of Mountville are being economically squeezed from all sides, especially by streaming music services. And while we had perfect weather last year, the forecast for scattered showers hurt us considerably. To keep Mountville going forward, we have to develop a more reliable financial model to be able to at least offer artists a reasonable honorarium as well as cover our increasing costs of putting it on.

So in the spring of 2024 our goal is to raise $6,000 with a dream of $7,500 before this year's festival. We know that Mountville means a lot of things to a lot of people, and many people are typically very generous at the gate. So we decided to simply ask for your support in advance, and see how close we can get. This way, even if circumstances keep you from coming to Mountville, you've still helped us be here for you and everyone else in the future - and sharing future Mountvilles together with you means the world to us!
