One of our trio of talented songbirds raising their voices separately and together for the Friday night finale, the ever-inspiring Lynn Hollyfield has bloomed at Mountville and we're lucky that she keeps wanting to return! A fixture on the DMV folk scene for three decades, this year she brings her brand-new record, Look Up. She is a powerful and passionate singer, a crisp guitarist and a warm hearted soul. The Staten Island, NY native picked up the guitar at age 10 and ran with musical influences from great jazz artists such as Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday to the Beatles, Cream and CSNY, to create her diverse repertoire of contemporary folk, pop, blues and jazz. We can't wait to hear her in the Friday night finale round robin with Annette Wasilik and Lisa Taylor, and perhaps late night around the campfires under that full Strawberry moon too! We're excited to welcome her back - can you tell?
